The Kindergarten program is designed to promote and
capitalize on a natural love for learning. Our curriculum includes the academic areas of language arts, mathematics, social
studies, science, art, computer, media center, music & drama, Spanish, and physical education. The curriculum is organized
to help students develop an understanding of concepts and methods of inquiry more than rote memorization of facts. We encourage
children to work independently as well as in a group setting.
Noonday Christian Academy is full of teachers who genuinely love working
with young children. Preschool children are taught basics, such as colors and numbers, but they are also
taught about friendship, respect, and God's love.
Our preschool children learn through arts and crafts, music and movement,
classroom cooking, Bible stories, in-house field trips, physical education and computer classes for the older children.
The Mothers Morning Out program is offered 2 days per
week for moms who need a couple days a week to run errands or work a part-time job. There is a Monday/Wednesday session
and a Tuesday/Thursday session for children 18 months and up. There will be curriculum for the MMO program.
It is more than a baby-sitting service.
